The salient features of this pump is as:






  • Top Suction design wherein the coloum acts as suction strainer so that objects or particles of larger sizes will not enter the pump casing.

  • Cantiler Type of Double Bearing Housing, thus giving sturdy motion to shaft.

  • 1500 mm of submerged depth length.

  • Top Motor Stool to mount Flange Mounted Standard 1450 RPM motor.

  • Standard Jaw Type Rubber Couplings.

BENTONITE PUMP

BENTONITE PUMP


This pump is basically designed for Construction Industry, particularly catering to pilling work.


The Pump design is Vertical one, Top Suction, Cantilever Type of Bearing Housings, while the drive motor is located at the top.








The design of the pump is such that it Mixes and well as it pumps the Bentonite slurry thus giving the effect of churning the Bentonite Slurry in the tank.


This pump can be hung in the tank by means of chain pulley blocks or any other conventional method so that it can be lowered or raised as per the level of the bentonite in the tank.
MOC of pump is Graded CI, ASTM 216, or any allows.
These Pumps are manufactured in the range from 5Hp to 40 Hp.

VERTICAL SUBMERGED PUMPS

GURUPAL Vertical submerged Pumps

are custom built single stage extended shaft centrifugal pump having the same design features as a Horizontal Back Pull Out Pump. This Pump is usually used in Vertical Hanging Submerged positions in the in tanks and sumps. The Manhole Cover of the Tank or Sump acts as the Base for mounting the Bearing Stool and the Motor Stool of the Pump. The Bearing Stool houses the Bearings. These pumps have two types of Bearing Housings



  • Single Bearing Standard Design.

  • Double Bearing Cantilever Type Design
These pumps are tailor made and as such the Submerged Depth or Length of the pump can be designed as per the customers Tank or Sump Depth. It can vary from 1 Mts to 10 Mts of submerged Depth.
The Shaft of the pump is rigid one piece and the design is such that it is guided by PTFE/METALIC/CERAMIC bushes which are housed in the Intermediate Bush Housings.
These Intermediate Bush Housing is located at every Coloumn Joints. Gland packings are provided for vapour sealings at the top cover and below the bearing Stools.
The top stool is called the Motor Stool. A Flange Mounted Motor is bolted to this stool and the motor is coupled with the pump with any standard rubber couplings.

CHEMICAL PROCESS PUMPS

GURUPAL PROCESS PUMPS:
Pumps used in Process Industry is basically termed as Chemical Process Pumps. These Pumps
are designed as per ISO 2858, DIN 24256 standards. These pumps are centrifugal horizontal, foot mounted, top centre line discharge with end suction and Back Pull Out Design so that in-line servicing is easy. The Impeller is closed or Semi open radial Impeller specially designed for low NPSH, Hydraulically balanced by back vanes or by balancing holes. The Shaft sealing is either achieved by Gland Packings or by Mechanical Seals. The Mechanical Seals can be either External or Internal type. The Stuffing Box is of standard design and can incorporate both the shaft sealing methods. The Back Cover housing the Stuffing Box , can be provided with cooling circuits connections for high temperature applications. The Back Pull Out design ensures that the pump body remains in the intact in the piping system of the plant, but the revolving or the moving components of the pump can be dismentaled by lossening the body bolts, for servicing/maintenence purpose. The Back pull out Design is best suitable for Chemical and Process industries.
